why are flights from Bangkok to Europe nearly double in price . i can get a flight with the same airline from London to Bangkok for 475 uk pounds from here it's 38,000 baht .. = 791 UK pounds . same journey same plane same airline same fuel used same airports !!!!!! i was once told that Thailand was the cheapest hub in the world to buy a ticket from ..can anyone explain why it is so expensive now from Thailand !!!!

The answer I got when I emailed an airline about this once.....that's the way it is, no explanation, just take it or leave it.

and there are flights around 32-34k baht with stop over.

I paid 28.000 baht 6 months ago, for return ticket BKK / MANCHESTER.

I know this matter has been raised before and my question has as well but i don't know or remember the answer...........

Can i book a flight while i am in the uk for my girlfriend to fly from BKK-LDN ?

Obviously the booking/purchasing of the ticket (uk) is not the same place as the origin/starting point of the journey(Thailand).
