Should I Come This Weds?

Featured Replies

MY friend and I are thinking of making a last minute trip to Bangkok and then on to the beachs, probably Phiket or Krabbi. I read that there are heavy Monsoons and that it is expected to rain quite a bit between now and January and I am looking for the sun. Might divert and head to Costa Rica. Can someone fill me in on what's going on over there? Thanks

CNN weather forecast ,Phuket

BBC weather forecast,Phuket

well ..if u still wanna go to Thai..and worry about rain, maybe head to Thai Gulf beaches as Koh Samui, Koh Chang (and islets as koh kham, koh maak,Koh kood.)

Basically it'd be high season in south(November to March), but seem it has rain /monsoon as you know

<deleted>??

the BBC forecast predicts lovely weather - mostly sun, whereas CNN has mostly rain. surely somethings wrong here?

I know we've been having some unusual rain in Phuket but thats because of heavy storms on the other side (i.e. Samui). So i would definitely recommend against going there over to the Samui side. This is their rainy season, hence the big storms and flooding.

Anyway, this side (Phuket/Krabi) of the peninsula should be fine. Its been quite sunny today and the rains should be over anytime soon, if not already.
