A bunch of us lowlifes passed a hat around and we came up with a pile of abt. 40 Kbaht. Our intention is to donate this somewhere it would help or brighten the day of underprivileged children. Suggestions are welcome.

And no, this is neither joke nor troll.

Well done mate.

I would think visiting an orphanage to find out what the kids would love, and then buying it. We just bought a full on swing set for my daughter and she loves it to bits. Perhaps some orphan kids would like something like that? or a trampoline etc

My wife and I donate on a regular basis to the Foundation for Children, which houses many orphaned and disadvantaged children. Its a sad place for sure, especially when we try to leave, and all the children follow us, asking us to take them home. But we go and read books to them, or hold the infants, so that they feel human contact.

They also can use cash donations, or donations of food and clothing.

Thank you all for your replies. We shall find a way out boondock children's

home or some such place where they never had any donations from any party before.

While I do admire the hard work and dedication displayed by the Rayong people,

they already are being assisted and have the Catholic Church behind them.

And the wonderfull people of Bahtandsold among others.

Good people are easy to find.

We want to find some kids who never had any help whatsoever.

And find them we shall.

Seasons' greetings to you all. You are good, good people.

Great to see this initiative.

Just one small suggestion: whilst buying clothes, goods etc is a good idea, I think it wise to actually ask the people who run whichever organisation you choose what exactly they would prefer you to buy beforehand. They may have certain priorities of which you may be unaware.

Well done to all those responsible for raising the money. :o
