Just got back from the Thailand Fishing Tackle Manufacturers Association (at least that's what I think it stands for) Show in the Bangna Central Shopping Mall on Bangna Trad about 2 miles from BITEC.

Definitely worth a visit between now and Sunday. Lots of stuff I don't normally come across in visits to local shops, and quite a bit of discounting. Not too crowded today but I'll bet it's a zoo after work and on the weekend...

Find the KFC on the ground floor and go down the escalator.

I have been there it was fun, but the shimano reels were not cheaper. They were even cheaper at 7seas (at least the model i was looking at)

robblok, You're right- not all of the shops were discounting, especially on the brand names. But I picked up a couple dozen lures at great prices and one of them was the only one that caught me 8 good snakeheads at Pilot 111 today. I'm glad I bought it- and didn't lose it.
