Gay New Year!

Any good ideas for a place for an old gay guy to hang out at New Years? I am not familiar with the Bangkok scene, so am lost for ideas

Depends if you want quiet or noisy.. Anywhere in Silom will be NOISY!

why not try the party of the longyangclub ? its at Silom soi 2, but probably not as noisy as other events around the area.... and decent folks, no prostitutes as there are at almost all other places at Silom...

I think everything will be noisy and wild, so you might want to go with the flow. I usually go out early enough to find a nice place (Usually Soi 4), get a good seat and then go home reasonably early.

I've never found a quiet place, except at home, but I've had a fairly nice time anyway and I like it kind of quiet.
