Being a Commonwealth nation, and an English speaking one at that, I don't understand why cricket has not become a dominant sport in Canada. Are the summers too short there? Or is it because of the influence of baseball from its big southern neighbor?

"F" is for Fielders as well as 4.''

Maybe kevjohn you have found your specialist niche.

Double points for double use 'fieldsmen' and 'four'

Great new Avatar...and thanks for taking on the extra duties.

"H" has to be for Hat-trick

(sorry me not as good as you players with posting attachments..photos, cartoons etc.)

"H" is for Howzat?! Further explanation of this term might be required. The word hasn't found its way into the dictionary yet, for some reason

A very good point indeed. Canada does have a cricket team but they are pretty awful.

As you allude to, it seems the Canadians are more interested in baseball (never mind Ice Hockey). I once watched the Blue Jays play and it seemed the Canadians were quite enjoying the strange spectacle.

Most of Canada is also rather cold, which makes fielding down at third-man quite unpleasant.

Despite the fact the alphabet has been counted down....

B is BookMan

or Brit1984

Sorry for reminding the Boss about this ... but it's really 'Show' and 'Tell' ... not just 'Tell'

I know we are supposed to be posting images, but I am using a Thai laptop (with menus in Thai).

To download an image (and then to upload it to the Thai Visa forum), I would need to ask the wife for help.

Doing so, would probably require me to answer two questions:

1. What is cricket?

2. What is the Thai Visa forum?

At least one of these questions, could take some serious explaining.
