I still have 6 exemption visas of land border crossing at this last 3 months, ( with multiple border points, Poipet, Hat Lek, & Nong Khai )

so, this 19 May, I would like go to Nong Khai again just make a visa run, I don't have time to make my visa..

Can it be possible that I'll get some problem with the Immigration Officier, when I'll entering again in Thailand with this exemption ?

Thanks

It's legal, fine, and there are no set limits on the number of visa exempt entries you can make at this time.

That said, any immigration officer may refuse you for any reason at any time, even if you have a visa, so nothing is set in stone. This doesn't happen much in practice, though. You may have to answer some questions on whether you are working or not in Thailand and where your funds are coming from. Also note that you may be required to show proof of funds (10K or 20K THB).

A flight out is not normally asked at a land crossing - and even by air it is highly unusual for it to be asked for most travelers.

When you say air I presume you mean if the passanger is allowed to board in the first place?

I know someone who has done over 20 back-to-back visa runs thru Mae Sai. She's a sweet, charming lady so maybe this is one reason she's never been questioned or warned. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk that I'd be denied entry, but it doesn't bother her. She says she really likes the van driver from the visa run company and it's a nice outing every couple weeks!

I just cannot understand why a person can't find the time to get a proper tourist visa instead of all those trips (plus the cost) to the border. If you are truly a tourist (not working illegally) a person should have plenty of time to do it. Three or four days (travel included) is all it would take to get a tourist visa in Vientiane.

Yeah, I agree and my friend has heard this many times before. That's why she just laughs and says she likes the outing and the van driver. In truth, I don't think she wants to leave her animals for more time than a one-day visa run. We all probably do a few things that our friends just can't understand!
