engrin
As the title reads, i would like to change baht to canadian dollars. What is the best way? A money changer in bangkok or send it via swift transfer, paypal, payment to a canadian credit card ?
CharlieH
Superrich in Bangkok, Paypal will screw you hard on the rate. http://www.superrich.co.th/ last rate shown is 30.85 , you'd be lucky to achieve 29 with Paypal Really it all depends on the amount you need to change. toastie
1. Find a canadian retiree (with cdn bank account) 2. Agree on a fair exchange rate 3. Give him your baht 4. He transfers canadian dollars (within canada) to the account of your choice. You have BOTH just saved a ton of money in int'l bank charges.

If you're really paranoid, sit with him at a coffee shop and do it all online. You can watch him send the money, and then you can check straight after to see if it went through. Also, us Canadians are the nicest people on Earth, didn't you know?
