Food By Phone Service In Bangkok

We use them on occasion for office lunch meetings, they provide very reliable service. However, www.chefsxp.com is excellent and does not mark up the products like foodbyphone.com. Example a can of soda on foodbyphone.com is 25 Bhat, on chefsxp.com they are 15 Bhat. Some of the identical food items are often more than 100 Bhat cheaper on chefsxp.com. A few restaurants are on both sights and some mutually exclusive, the only time we use foodbyphone.com is if the item/restaurant is not available on chefsxp.com . Either service is very good on customer support and prompt delivery in our experience.

Yeah I used to use them but then discovered chefsxp. Saw just how big the mark-up can be with FBP and tossed their menu straight into the trash. Hate gougers.

Little off-topic but do the people in that video really represent their typical customer?

Nothing wrong with making money by delivering food to lazy people!

Food By Phone is too expensive now that ChefsXP are competing with them. I suppose they could get away with it before then. Right now I'm very enjoying FoodPanda, great selection of restaurants and much better website than both of them.

Chef XP could may be sometimes less expensive but from my experience and friends experience the quality and customer support is really poor at Chef XP.

Food by Phone has the best packaging and quality service..

Very bad experience on my side....2 hours for delivering cold food....

Their website is may be more "sexy" but really complicated to find what you want. And restaurant quality is not good

Yes, we often use foodbyphone because they delivered a free catalogue / menu to our house which has every restaurants' menu clearly presented in a consistent and logical way. Much better than messing about with scrolling though various menus online. The staff who answer the phone are also very professional and the food always comes fast. Great choice of restaurants too.

Are they a new sponsor?

Anyway yes I use them regularly and have found the service to be excellent. Food delivered quickly and by polite, courteous drivers. Packaging is also good and the glossy menu book excellent. Staff in the call centre are efficient and polite and I'd feel more confident dealing with them if there was ever a problem than I would with ChefsXP. Overall, I'd rather pay a bit more for the food for the superior levels of service.

+1 on that IMO customer service from FBP way better than chefxp and , for me, worth the extra few bt. Had a couple of very poor service experiences with chefxp hardly use them now,

From very far the best one.

I tried all the 2 other chefxp/foodpanda...The service is really bad.

I understand why Food by Phone is the biggest one and agree to pay a little bit more on some restaurants (not all are more expensive ie: Bangkok Burger Co). Even if sometimes the delivery could be delay...I just think Food by Phone is victim of its success but we all know how operational is complicated here....

Owner of ChefXP. Sorat is a complete idiot, rude, obnoxious and does not give a sh1t about customer service.

They lost a lot of customers due his rudeness - remember the email fiasco when all the customers who registered were getting 20-40spam emails a day from them....

Rubbish. Laziness has nothing to do with it when you want food from a restaurant that isn't in your locale.

One had to expect some kind of charge for delivery but not a gouge added to the price of the dish and a delivery charge.

Anyway, I've binned both of them in favour of Foodpanda. Better restaurant selection and more professional

Hi,

I tried too but the service was really awful with foodpanda...very late delivery 2 hours and half, wrong and cold food.

Not even to our complaint...

They are amateurs...

I'd rather go for the most experienced one FBP.
