Can anybody help me?..

I am trying to help my wifes friend who wants to sell her land in Khon kaen.

She is pretty much on the poverty line with 2 kids and her husband has done

a runner.. She lives in Chonburi and is our neighbour.

She has 1 rai + 1 rai, farm land + 250 tw innercity land in khon kaen.

Can anyone suggest the best way she can offer it for sale in that area.

Are there any land agents, Thai or otherwise. She does have the "Chanotes"

in her name and in her possesion. She is unable to make trips up and down

due to lack of funds but can of course make arrangements to meet a serious buyer.

Any ideas would be gratefully received or maybe even someone who is prepared to

offer the land for sale on her behalf(sale commission is available)..

Thanks for your thoughts.. Joe

I have a friend who's coming in a few days and he wants to buy some land in Khon Kaen. If you want to send me some information by PM:

where is the land 1 Rai + 1 Rai, etc. and a contact phone number we will get back to you.... don't forget yours or your wife's friends phone number and/or email....

To the OP, 1 Rai is not a very large piece of land to farm so be very hard to sell unless someone is after a hobby farm or it is in a village and able to build on, as for the 250tw in the city that could sell quickly if in the right place.

We live about 20ks from khon kaen, and my girlfriend has many contacts in the farming community being a farmer herself and running the main office for farmers where we are.

If you post what area the land is in maybe she can help. nev

You could post an ad for her on the local KK forum.

Have someone put for sale signs up on the properties.

Terry

The "local" KK forums would provide rather limited and select coverage.

I might suggest that one searches online for Isaan lawyers [who deal in real estate] or property brokers...they're there if you know where to look. I would list them here, but TV prevent me from this helpful act.

As it applies to buying and selling property, contacts are everything....

There are also physical ways in which to advertise your 1 rai in KK - bulletin boards en mass, where notes can be written in Thai.
