briley Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 Simple question, When you renew a retirement visa does it run for 12 months from the date it was due to expire or the date you renew it? ie - if your visa has to be renewed on the 1st Feb so you go in on the 10th January to renew it. This poster has an extension of stay or O-A type visa so it will be on that date each year. Next year you will be in the same playing field and receive the full year.
