Finnish man jumps to his death from 11th floor apartment in North Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A Finnish resident of Pattaya reportedly fell to his death from his 11th floor apartment balcony on Wednesday Night.

The apparent suicide took place at the Golden Pattaya Condominium in the Naklua area and resulted in the death of Mr. Jari Mikko Majuri aged 46.

His distraught Thai Wife, Khun Gamonwan aged 30, was there and confirmed their seven year relationship was fraught with problems. Earlier in the week, she had gone back to her home town but received many calls from Mr. Majuri who was upset she had gone.

He allegedly claimed prior to her leaving Pattaya that he would kill himself if she went.

Unfortunately in the seven years that he stayed in Pattaya he did not have the time to look around to see how many nicer women were around. He could have picked another one and kept on living.

His wife could have been one of the nicest around 7 years ago. You can't walk down the street and see how they're going to be in a relationship. He could have been responsible for things going bad too... the possibilities are endless.

Read the article. It states he jumped/fell with a laptop in his hand. "Here honey, hold this......" Perhaps he was grasping for anything as he went over. And the supposed suicide note wasn't even a suicide note. "Remember me Jari, forever Jane" was obviously written to him by Jane, one must assume the nickname of his wife , and likely before she had left him. Then just moments "before" her return from the village, he jumps! Me thinks, someone arrived "prior" to his downward demise.

Hate to fall in to the role of yet another BIB basher but I doubt they find anything at all suspicious about any of this. Maybe they need to do away with balconys and working windows above the second story in all Thai buildings, particularly in Pattaya blink.png What are the statistics for the frequency of farang jumpers in Thailand versus people everywhere else in the world?

RIP Jari.
