Can a true sat dish be realigned so that it can receive astro satellite? (I am living in Bangkok)

If its a original truevision sat dish the lnb on the dish will be 11300

you need to change the LNB and put a universal lnb then it will work .

I would advise someone like Jsat.tv to install your dish correctly for you as it will need to be fine tuned to pick up astro

Won't work.

Bangkok is outside of the ku band footprint.

What you do is picking up stray signals, and for that you need a bigger dish. 1.5 m or more recommended...

Had it wotking in Pattaya on a 75 cm dish, but low signal and slightest mini cloud saw the connection disappear.

Over here 1.2m dish recommended. Pattaya is about 150km closer to the footprint, so stronger signal then in Bkk...

What Monty says is correct....150cm dish for BKK.

On Samui a 90 cm dish works well.
