Yahoo Hijacking Google Search In Firefox

Featured Replies

Have had this problem before but was able to fix through-about:config>keyword.url>delete yahoo and add Google code, all good. But following the same path it already states that I'm searching in Google.

Typed Yahoo into the about:config filter and reset all results,no joy.Done a heap of searching and tried many supposed fixes to no avail. Can not search from the address bar, sends me to the home page and there in the Google Search is Yahoo. If I go straight to Google no problems. All cookies and cache deleted, extensions disabled??Frustration.

Any assistance appreciated.Thanks.

in the upper right hand corner in the search box, there's a drop down arrow.

left click on arrow,in drop down tap, left click " manage search engines",

in the pop up box high lite and delete all but Google.

should fix your problem
