Expats Coffee Morning

This Friday, August 10, from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the River Market restaurant on the west side of the Iron Bridge. There will be a breakfast buffet for those who'd like to enjoy more than just coffee.

The Expats Coffee Mornings are monthly, the second Friday of each month. So, the September get-together will be on Friday, Sept 14. Stay tuned for an announcement a few days before the event, but I expect it will be the same time, same place.

Also, the Expat Club has a meeting every month, on the fourth Saturday morning at the Shangri-La hotel. This is a more "formal" meeting, with a speaker, announcements, lucky draw. Don't worry -- it's not "formal" in the sense that you have to dress up, but rather it's a "formal" in the sense that there's an agenda, speaker, etc. The next Shangri-La meeting will be Saturday, August 25, gather at 10 am for kanoms and chatting with the meeting starting at 10:30 am.

There is a modest charge for the Shangri-La meeting, but no charge for the coffee mornings, aside from whatever you order from the restaurant in the way of drinks and food.
