We have a Thomson TG 585 v7 wireless router which was installed some time ago by TOT. A couple of months ago we installed another TV which received a signal wirelessly via a Buffalo N150 router, i.e., A Wireless Distribution System or WDS.

For whatever reason the Buffalo no longer appears to receive a signal from the Thomson. (BTW this happened before True changed their encryption mode). I am unable to gain access to the Thomson configuration page at 192.168.1.1 All I get is broadband connection and toolbox. My guess is that TOT have blocked the configuration menu although the person who installed the Buffalo somehow accessed it. Unfortunately he is no longer available to fix my problem.

From my reading it would appear that the Thomson needs to in Bridge mode.

Does anyone know how to access configuration on the Thomson? Can someone please talk me through the setup or point me in the right direction.

TIA

Assuming this is a WiFi problem you can press the reset button and return the router to its factory settings with no password etc

and reconfigure from scratch.

If you are receiving info from the internet to decode the True TV signal?

Then this discussion must end now.
