I came across this interesting article in nsanedown on the Bittorent throttling practices of ISPs around the world. The major ISPs in the U.K. and the U.S. look pretty good compared to the ISPs in Thailand.

I'm sure the ISP's traffic shaping varies according to what class of service you have.

mine 3bb has been fine... 6mb connection. on strong torrents am able to get 700Kb+/s

I was just looking at the TrueMove -H 3G page , and saw Bittorrents mentioned .

Not sure if cellular data providers are included in the charts. True Internet is the most aggressive for throttling bittorents though according to the chart.
