I was at the Suwintiwong Honda dealer (Bangkok) this morning dropping off my Honda for servicing and noticed they had the new Honda CR-Z on display. They only offer the top model, available in black, red or white. It's made in Japan and from when you order, it will be delivered in three weeks. I'm seriously considering buying one but the B 1,975,000 price is giving me second thoughts. I'm kind of looking at this as that "last car" I'll probably ever buy type of thing so why not go out in style? I know it's overpriced but discounting that are their any CR-Z out their who can comment on the CR-Z?

NOTE: Last sentence should read, ....... are their any CR-Z owners out there who can comment on the CR-Z

do you want it for performance or for looks? it's a beautiful looking car, but any number of hot hatches will leave it for dead, for not substantially more money either slightly used or new (Golf GTI, Scirocco, Mini Cooper S, A1) and a few are cheaper new but will smack the CRZ(Skoda Fabia RS, Citroen DS3) or you can get another Japanese brand Toyota GT86 which isn't that much more for much more car.If the economy is the thing then the Prius new shape is substantially less money for a similarly efficient car.

I considered it briefly but discarded it once I learned of the performance (I loved the old CRX so presumed this was more like that than a prius, but really it is closer to a prius in concept).

That said, one man's food is another man's poison. Test drive it, but you would sell yourself short if you don't at least check out the Citroen, Skoda and Mini Cooper/Cooper S/Clubman.
