Scary stuff. I took my Audi to have some water removed from passenger side and carpet cleaned as carpets were wet.

After 1 hour I came back and they had removed almost everything! See pic attached.

Let's hope they can put it back together again! This was the first time they had seen an Audi :o

Probably be able tomake a half decent samlor out of whats left if you throw in some bits left over from your last Ikea build.

If it was very wet be thankful they did remove it - the underfelt gets soaked and there is no way it can be dried properly if left in the car. It can take several days to get it dried (I had my carpets done a couple of years ago, after road flooding made water come into my car. Cost 2000 baht + ozone treatment to remove nasties and their smell.

Definately collect all screws yourself - they didn't replace any of my console screws and had no idea where they were ! Had to get them replaced at honda.

I had my carpet removed but wanted my car back, so I drove around with no carpets for a week. If you need your car tell them you want it back, and you will return when the carpets are dry (some companies will want to keep the car though, no idea why).
