Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi held talks with President Thein Sein in Naypyidaw on Wednesday for the second time in less than two weeks, according to the director of the president’s office, Col Zaw Htay. He declined to provide details of the talks. Suu Kyi and Thein Sein have met on three previous occasions, most recently on Aug. 12. No details of that meeting were released. Suu Kyi heads the main opposition group in Parliament, which is currently in session. The legislature is overwhelmingly dominated by allies of the former military regime.—AP
