[Myanmar] Thai Pm To Visit Burma Next Month

Featured Replies

Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra will travel to Naypyidaw on Sept. 13 to follow up on matters discussed during her last visit to Burma in July. The Bangkok-based newspaper The Nation reported that Yingluck is planning a two-day trip to the Burmese capital to meet with President Thein Sein for further discussions on the Dawei deep-sea port project in southern Burma and other bilateral agreements. Meanwhile, Burma’s Labor Ministry announced on Wednesday that it had reached an agreement with 49 Thai companies to provide Burmese workers.
