I Want To Upgrade The Engine In My Mk1 Escort In Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Does anyone know a reliable English Speaking mechanic in Chiang Mai that can do engine conversions?

I have a Mk1 Escort with a Nissan A14 Engine and a 4 Speed Gearbox. Want to upgrade to a Toyota 4AGE 16V with a 5 Speed perhaps. Or something with a similar power upgrade.

I drive this car a lot, for hundreds of miles so it needs to be a good conversion.

Any recommendations?

Nooooooooo, Essex V6 fitted into lots of stuff. Even the 2.8 Cologne is a gem but not as reliable, smile.png
