I gently broke the subject yesterday without mentioning that she will have to stop smoking and she thought about it.

Today I spoke about it again and explaing the no smoking bit and she is still thing about it. A reasonable start I think.

Maybe you could reduce a bit yourself and save the 3 pad thai.

His wife seems to smoke 1 packet a day has he plans to give her 90thb per day.
