September 7, 201213 yr Boy, I used Don airport a few times on my first trips to Thailand before Suvi opened. I always hated the end of my vacations, but one thing that helped a little bit was a small juice shop in the airport. They would make me a simple Orange Juice and Banana mix. I would get that just before boarding my flight. At the new Suvi airport, there are several juice shops, but each has a set menu and despite my repeated attempts the workers will NOT stray from the set menu combinations. None seemed to have the OJ and banana combination. Just wondering how full up and running Don airport is? Same services inside as before? I did prefer the old airport. It gave the traveler a little more feel that they were in Thailand. The new airport is too sterile. Not much Thai decor, or architecture in my opinion.
