Anyone know where I would be able to buy a vaccum sealer , in Chiang Mai ?

I probably do seal and freeze a little more than the average household and the small house sizes, like many local things, just don't seem to hold up. The previous one was also very hard to clean out. Literally had to take the thing apart to clean it properly.

I would like to find something on the light commercial size.

Any recommendations ?

I think Chiangmai Plastic in Warorot Market has some. To find them, from Thapae Road, take the first soi on the right after the turn to the night bizarre. The shop is about 100 metres down on the right just before the left turn T junction with a gold shop on the corner.

Small entrance but it goes back a long way and you need to ask at the back.

Failing that, try asking Je Imboon, the big vegetarian supermarket by Kham Tieng market. They used to do a lot of packaging and vac-sealing for me a few years ago for a nominal cost.

To find Imboon, from Rattanakosin Road, turn into Muang Samat Road heading towards Kham Tieng market, go straight on past the T junction left turn. Imboon is unmissable on the right.
