and when on a forum where a hell of a lot of articles by the nation are derogatory about ptp (whether veiled or blatant), when is anyone allowed to mention the dems?

must one wait until the nation publish a derogatory article about the dems??? whistling.gif that's an often occurrence.

If you have a problem with the news articles that are posted, you are free to post your own news media articles the same as a number of other members do..... or you can do nothing and just whine about the news sources without contributing yourself like tlansford is always doing.

Admins and mods have repeatedly encouraged the membership to take an active role in posting news.

This government is as serious as clearing corruption as the dem government was, neither have an interest in clearing it as both benefit from it.

End of thread, may as well lock it now

yes, now that the

"but, the Democrats" keypad

has been pushed.

.

Am I wrong?

But there is also 'backdoor' corruption. A Udon Thani academic petitioned one of the courts (sorry can't recall which one) against their decision to delist a number of hazardous pesticides / insecticides. The idea being that by changing the law and allowing the importation of the 23 hazardous products, it only benefitted the importers financially. His petition was thrown out citing scientific proof that the products were not hazardous. I'm not so sure.

mustn't mention the democrats, mustn't mention the democrats.

posting irrelevant pictures is fine though. wai.gif

this whole "but the democrats" nonsense used as a tool to ridicule people, is just that, silly nonsense.

ptp and dems are the two main parties as everyone knows, so of course comparisons will be made when one side is being slated by someone, it's the nature of any two sided political discussion as you should well know, and it's ridiculous to think otherwise.

so just remember folks: mustn't mention the democrats to make comparisons or arguments... and if you do, prepare yourself for that most ridiculous of mockeries.

The Thaksin apologists have always been on wobbly ground when it comes to corruption.

They have never even bothered to deny it, but that doesn't stop them feeling mightily uncomfortable when defending the integrity of the current government.

Their tattered defence has been a mixture 'the other side are at it as well you know', or a picky 'you can't prove it' or the final line of defence (as here) the Nation is biased against us.

The Speaker, the one seen asleep, probably recovering from one of his jollies? Hand-picked by Thaksin. That is why the cheerleaders are twitchy.

Another coat of whitewash at the ready please.

but what do you think about the point i made?

this was the meat of it:

ptp and dems are the two main parties as everyone knows, so of course comparisons will be made when one side is being slated by someone, it's the nature of any two sided political discussion as you should well know, and it's ridiculous to think otherwise.

do you disagree with that point?

also "The Speaker, the one seen asleep, probably recovering from one of his jollies?"

has what exactly to do with corruption?

if it was a thread called"how serious are the thai government about fighting laziness?", then yeah, post that stuff up, it would be a goldmine of a pic to use.

otherwise it's yet another off topic pic from our resident off topic pic poster.

It's a photo of the man that is embroiled in a corruption scandal.

If you wish to post a different photo, feel free.... but the photo itself is not off-topic, nor is the alleged corruption by the House Speaker. ;)
