I have to say that if America's idea of bringing peace to the world is invading Iraq, bombing Afghanistan, funding and supplying rebels in Libya and Syria etc, it makes me quite glad that they haven't decided on a policy of aggression and destabilisation. Heaven forbid what the global political landscape would look like if that were the case.

Who knows, perhaps Thailand's concept of world peace dovetails nicely with that of the US...

Just when you think that the woman cannot make more blunders, she does come up with something. It would be hilarious if it were not so pathetic and embarrassing. For Thailand.

Agreed, last time she was going to help Europe back on it´s feet.

Before that she was going to bring peace to the south.

Before that she was going to plant trees, to stop landslides and flooding.

Wonder what´s next?

She also shows how much she is connected to reality.

"In her speech, titled ‘Thailand and a New Southeast Asia’, PM Yingluck stated that Thailand has been proud to have worked closely with the US in many aspects, while assuring that the Thai government is now ready to promote the country’s stability, democracy, human rights and the rule of law, after years of political turmoil."

"democracy, human rights and the rule of law"

Never mind the democracy which Thailand is not. But "rule of law"??? cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif Does Yingluck actually believe the garbage she mimics?

Of course. She actually believes that she is a competent PM and that she does everything for Thailand. Well, she does travel around a lot and giving speeches about how Thailand can help other countries improve on various things. That is the scary thing, she does believe the crap and the frogs jumping out of her mouth. She does not realize how this makes her and her country look.
