Any recomendations on a Hotel very close to Don Mueang. ? Have a 6.am Air Asia flight in a few days.

Miracle Grand. 4 star very nice service and room. Food options. They have transportation to the airports and always a taxi out side. About 1 KM away

Last time I stayed, weekend, I think I paid 1700 Bt.

A place I used to stay at years ago (before Suvharnabumi) is the Don Muang Mansion...very close to the airport....you could walk. I googled it & it still seems to be open & getting reasonable reviews.

Yes excellent hotel, I use it regularly, but do not book it at the airport, about 1.200 baht per room. Now I go straight there, about 600 Baht per room. Oh and watch those rip off motorbike taxis, one tried to charge me 70 Baht for a 15 min walk.

Amari Airport hotel is there, walk over the bridge to the hotel from the airport. I've stayed there a few times for meetings - good breakfast and buffet lunch. Not sure of the cost as I've never paid:)

Amari is the closest. Just walk across the foot bridge, could throw a stone on it that's how close it is.

We've never been disappointed with the Amari. It's great for an early flight.

Clean, comfortable and the most convenient.

The Asia Hotel is significantly cheaper than the Amari, and only 3 km from the airport. Free shuttle to the airport. However, it's a pretty depressing place, nothing to do in the area after the (dreary) shopping mall closes, and on the only occasion I stayed there my room stank of vomit.

Not sure about the Amari, but I've done it at the Miracle a number of times though it's been a while.
