I own a great pair of Mizuno shoes....and they are the most comfortable I have ever worn.

Today.....I forgot them.

It has been raining here for the last 3 weeks, the wet season has finally started at our place.......the down side, I haven't been able to get to my local because of the rain.

I really like my local, and I always wear my Mizunos when I go there. Sometimes I find myself walking around my local more than I should, but that is usually due to my own stupidity......sometimes having a senior moment.

But because I have my Mizonos on, it doesn't worry me too much.......they are really comfortable.

......except for today.....I forgot them.

But because it hadn't rained for 3 days, and I was really missing my local....I just had to go.

I was so excited about going to my local.....I forgot my shoes.

When I arrived at my local and discovered my "senior moment", I was, as you can imagine..... devastated.

But I wasn't going to turn around and go home....I was already at my beloved local, so what was I to do.......I needed my shoes which were still at home, not missing me as much as I was missing them.

So I ordered a beer and thought about my dilema. After some serious thought I had made my decision.

I ordered 5 more beers and paid the 100 baht fee for a pair of hire shoes.....which were 1 & 1/2 sizes too small, and obviously no where near as comfortable as my much loved Mizunos.

I stepped onto the first tee swearing to myself........"I Will Never Forget My Shoes Again!"

I still enjoyed my golf...I always do, the pain killers I took along with me disguised as cans of amber fluid helped a little, but by the end of the day I had a blister on the back of my left heel the size of an Aussie 50cent coin......but I kept repeating to myself.....I will Never forget my shoes again!

So has anyone else forgotten their shoes or something that makes them swear to never forget it again....I don't care how senior I get.....I will never forget my shoes again.

So I get the feeling that I am the only member that has "senior moments" and that draws me to the conclusion that everybody else is perfect in their own little way.

I must be living on a different planet to everybody else, so please accept my apologies for being an alien.

Cheers and Have Fun......no matter what you do.

i am more than willing to accept a moment, be it senior of not. but you make no sense at all.

i have some stellar loss of shoe moments, and i i am far from senior.

i have even lost vehicles, but the result was always far better than me actually driving them.
