I have two different Land and Houses condos (both under the Baan Suan Thon "brand"). No management issues at all, much less silly things like locked fire escapes. Go LH if you want to reduce your headaches. No, I'm not a shareholder.

Thanks, for all the good advice from posters: Especially the post highlighting my possible trouble if I add my own lock and am culpable for a disaster.
