Yes, VAT Refund is now available at Don Mueang Int'l Airport (DMK).

VAT Refund office is located between Exit 1 and Exit 2 on the Departure Level, just next to Air Asia Sales Counter. The office can be spotted with the green sign. The office opens at 4am and closes after the last flight check-in.

When you arrive at the airport you may proceed directly to the VAT Refund office. Here, you'll need to present your passport + P.P.10 Form (the yellow document). The officer will also examine the goods purchased and stamp on the P.P.10 Form and return the form back to you. At this office you WILL NOT get the refund amount back.

Proceed to check-in, depending on the goods you've bought. If the size is large (ie. plasma TV), then you'll need to check it in. But if the products are luxury goods such as watches then you will need to carry these items with you. DO NOT check-in these items as the officer may inspect them again after you've passed the immigration and the security check area.

After you've pass through the immigration and the security check area, you'll spot a VAT Refund counter. At this counter you'll need to present the stamped P.P. 10 Form to the officer. The officer may ask to inspect the goods one more time. Here you'll get the cash amount back.
