Thailand obviously does not use bht!!

Yea member using something else as baht, crazy.

Even worse, using something as vague as Dollar. True, US, Canada, Australia does not make much of a difference at the moment, but how about Singapore, or even better: full breakfast for 6 HK Dollar.

Millions upon millions in Zimbabwean currency.

and maybe with the American dollar in the future there govt owes 13 trillion dollars to other countries, something like $40,000 for every man, woman and child in the USA

Is this thread about a good breakfast or a discussion on another countries debt? I very much doubt the op wants to know anything that might spoil his breakfast!!

Strange phenomenon in all forums, very quickly leaving you the question to move on to something else. Have you no sense so let that be silly. Not interesting.

Thanks for Kamala Bakery. I´ll check it out.

IF you are a tourist you should know the best way to find decent food at a reasonable price anywhere

Just walk around and have a look,If you see a lot of tourists or expats eating in a restaurant you can be sure the price and quality of the food is good, if in Thailand you see Thai people eating there as well you can be sure its very good and so is the price

Avoid tourist traps unless you are trying to impress a lady

I would never think about posting on a forum in a tourist destination asking where to buy breakfast

I seem to recall you posting a thread asking for restaurant recommendations in Rawai Peter, which as you live there, isn't a hundred miles from the OP's question.

Thats right i did sport, still having problems finding good restaurants in Rawai even though we live here with both good Thai and western food

Western breakfast if i want it no problem

So if a tourists asks for recommendations he should just walk around and have a look, if an expats asks for recommendations that is because he can't find good restaurants so needs recommendations.

Glad to see it is all coming together.

Well SL and Mr Poo if you do not know it, western breakfasts are easy to find here and at all tourists destinations, very easy to make although a lot of places cannot cook the bacon and eggs right for me, if i do not like there food there are plenty of other places for breakfast

As i said before look around for a place with plenty of customers and you cannot go wrong anywhere

Good western and Thai food in the same restaurant is not easy to find and thats the type of restaurant we like to eat in

Thai food we have a few good places in Rawai, western food none, sometimes OK and other times bad

In patong we always eat in the same restaurant when we go there and there food is good both Thai and Western and they always have customers both expat and Thai when the other restaurants are empty, thats how i chose it in the first place over 4 years ago, pity we cannot find a restaurant like it in Rawai

Exactly PC, not all places cook the food right, so somebody asks for recommendations where they do cook right. Edited by LivinginKata

Could give you some recommendations in Rawai for good western and Thai food, but sorry, don't want to do that after your posts here in this thread.

Western food no except for breakfast which is easy to find , Thai food the opposite end of Rawai beach to Nakitas, all Thai owned restaurants

Do you ever eat out SL ???

It's got to be the Kamala Bakery. It's not cheap by Thailand standards, but they use quality ingredients, and have a good Thai and Falang menu. Probably one of the few small businesses in Kamala that turns a healthy profit. It's closed on Sundays. For dinner (falang and Thai), Mam's have good food at a good price.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the food. I've never had an British-style "bacon and eggs" meal there, so I can't vouch for that side of things, but the baguettes and Thai options are very good. If it's the full English you want, this thread has some good suggestions:
