There is also DTAC which I've been using in Chiang Mai for many years with no problems.

It would help if we could understand your equipment (phone make and model) and any details re: your requirements: pre-paid, post-paid, voice, data, budget as there are some nuances which are better to be aware of before deciding on a service provider.

AIS (1-2-Call) have the widest coverage, followed by DTAC. True is waaaay behind.

Check the region where you are to see what most people are using and how they like the service.
