Telephone Problems Uk To Thailand.

Featured Replies

Hi.

Is anyone else experiencing problems recently calling Thailand from the UK? This week the line has been atrocious for me. I get through and can hear my partner but she can't hear me. I redial but it's the same. Each time my credit is reduced as the line connects which is frustrating. When i leave it a few hours and call, both of us can hear each other but it still isn't great.

I'm just trying to isolate the problem. Sometimes the connection isn't fantastic, but i've never had it this bad. I'm trying to see if it's the network (True), the mobile phone or my calling card (i phone) in UK (been using it for years).

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Try phoning from a landline in UK without using a calling card.

I have been back in the uk for five days now and have called Thailand everyday no problem using voip. I have found if there are any "gremlins" in the system it usually affects voip badly.

Like davejones says if I do have trouble I try from the landline

Hi.

Thanks for your replies. I tried another service via my landline and it appeared to be o.k. Calls via my calling card are still giving the same problems - it's practically useless. I will start a new topic on suitable alternatives.

Thanks.
