Tissue Paper?

Featured Replies

where can one find tissue paper in Thailand? (the stuff you may wrap clothing with inside gift boxes, etc) I have never seen it anywhere..

I can't help you much more than confirming that it does exist. I bought a few articles in a mall department store on Lad Phrao once and these were all boxed up using the identical tissue paper we are used to seeing in the west.

If around Bangkok, I would check Sampeng Lane, Chinatown.

How about using rice paper instead? Or perhaps it is Sa paper made from mulberry bark, not sure. Very cheap and big bundles of large sheets in many colors are available at Jatujak market, among other places. I bought some for use in a project and ended up using it to stuff parcels, protect things, etc.
