November 23, 201213 yr I got some similar to the ones in the photo from Asiatique (the trendy night market/eating area next to the rover in Bangkok). There's a small bike clothing shop in there and they sell throw-over panniers. Branded as Alpine - but I'm not sure if genuine and they were cheap ... but work OK and have waterproof slip-on covers.
November 28, 201213 yr Author Its really hard to buy anywhere but the 320 shop 1350 baht delivered chiang mai bike week or bust
December 3, 201213 yr Chang Mai saddle bags (google it) has some nice fake leather bags that are made for cruiser but look real good on my CBR. 2000 Baht,.
April 10, 201312 yr Just to bump an old thread- I received 2 Kriega dry packs today- the US-20 and the US-10 (I got them from Panda Rider- they're the authorized distributor for Thailand)- the 20 will attach to the subframe under the rear seat, and the 10 attaches to the 20 (they also make a 5 and a 30- all are waterproof and everything integrates for several size combinations). I haven't tried them yet, but based on looks and many great reviews, I think they were a good choice, and I like the easy way they attach to the bike (after the straps are properly set up, which looks like it will take a bit of effort). This is the 5, 10, and 20: The 10 and 20 attached to a bike (not mine):

April 10, 201312 yr They'll fit any bike with a rear seat- they'll be more secure if there's access to the subframe or some other hard attachment point, but they can be secured by the seat alone. The 10 was 3k (2700 without the securing straps, which you wouldn't need if you always attached it to the 20) and the 20 was 3500 baht. These prices are about the same as they'd be in the US from Revzilla.
April 10, 201312 yr Here's a 20 and two 10s on a Duc- the link has some pics of the set up: http://www.ducati.org/forums/1098-1198/12890-kriega-1098s.html
