A man came into my shop and bought something which I charged a 100 bucks. A few moments later a good-looking girl came and wanted to buy the same stuff, as I quite like this girl I charged her 80 bucks only.

What app is it? Name please. Sometimes programs keep status in a db or file and think it's still running - would be a pretty crappy app that can't recover from that though. So perhaps it truly is running in which case you can run something like 'sysinternals process explorer' (google it) and 'kill the process' if it really is running. Name that app though.
