scorecard Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Dear OP, Explain what are you looking for in Thailand and be honest and straight forward, should help to get some focused replies. But remember, you'll need to sort the answers.

What would you tell a first timer something they have gotta go see or what should they keep an eye out for as they perhaps are gonna get scammed...any tips, tricks and traps....thats all.

Unfortunately, most first timers come to TV only after they have made their first bad experience... at least that is my impression based on the newbie's questions on here Sent from my HTC One XL 4G using Thaivisa Connect App
Popular Post TommoPhysicist Posted December 5, 2012 Popular Post Posted December 5, 2012 For men She doesn't really love you. You are not a handsome man. Don't take a girl you met on the street back to your room. For everyone Don't hire a scooter if you have never driven one before. Don't drink drive. Wear a helmet, long trousers and a jacket (it hurts less when you fall off). Don't buy and drink funny cocktails on the beach from random vendors. Don't take drugs. 3

How is this question different? No disrespect intended to the OP, krisb (he's also an Aussie ... ) . Id forgotten about that David.I was watching a show last night about scams in Thailand and thought perhaps its an idea for TV. The show had the tuk tuk scam where they get the tourist and take them to jewellery shops, bad luck if you didnt wanna go. Then it talks about how the tuk tuk drivers work for the jewellery store mafia and so on. As one poster already said, people that have already been burned usually visit this site. Too late for some. 1
