Patpong Without Power?

Can anybody tell me why 90% of Patpong is without power?

I see huge generators all over the streets keeping the freezers on at Foodland. Its been going on for over a week now and many of the bars appear closed when I walk past.

At least the girls there will look better, or the trannys for that that matter. Consider it a plus, till the next day anyway, but life is transitory.

Moving to Bangkok Forum. Ain't no Foodland in Patong or all Phuket.

Actually , the old Supermarket on the Beach rd. goin' north around the corner from Bangla , may still be there , was called Foodland. It was the only place in Patong ,long ago !!!

There was a sign up somewhere stating that there was some maintenance/repair work that needed to be carried out to the power cables and there would be a disruption in power for about 3 or 4 days.

However things were supposed to be back to normal by 3rd Dec (if I remember correctly).
