pagallim
They are advertised on the Central On-Line site: http://www.central.co.th/en/products_detail.php?cid=23282&ptitle=TEFAL-3365588-:-Oven-#-OF2658 I was looking for something similar a year ago to cook a turkey, couldn't find anything though. Hi, It was in Central, Surat that I found them but they were on promo last month.. 1500 baht less which seemed a good price. Had I realized that it was a promotion only, I would have bought it then. Went back yesterday and they are the same price as on the website 5990... At 4490 it was a good buy, at 5990 it is only a small jump up to something proper !! Just thinking maybe another supplier had them at the lower price... Thanks anyway..

That one is fairy small, but probably good quality. I have a Mamaru 43 litre oven: http://www.mamaru.co.th/mr-1203.html It's about 3,5000 baht at Powerbuy, Makro (sometimes), Homeworks and such places, but it's typical cheap crap that won't last long. The current one I have is just over one year old and already the temperature controller is dodgy and the switch that controls which heaters are on feels like it's going to break soon. I did have an identical one that lasted about 4 years before the top heater packed up. So, from my experience, their reliability is going down rather than up. If anyone knows where to get a large electric grill, with removable tray, like these: I'd be interested in replacing my old one, which is also falling to pieces. Yes, the Tefal is definately better quality which is why I was going to buy it... Plus it has a 2 year international warranty. I will keep looking but might have to go to the next level up now as I want it to bake things for our coffee shop, hence a cheap one just won't last... The promo price was great value, reg price not such a good deal as it's still a counter top oven...

petercallen
We bought a round counter top convection oven 2 years ago for 990 baht still works fine for roasting, grilling and baking but it would not hold a turkey Very easy to clean and when it stops working we will buy a new one Warranties in Thailand seem to mean nothing on a lot of items Edited December 13, 2012 by petercallen
