Is there a name for the big stone monoliths off highway A2 (1) south of Kamphaeng Phet? The whole highway between Lampang and Bangkok is only remarkable by its absence of any change in topography, other than those unique stone monoliths that seem more suitable to northern Thailand or the limestone country along the penninsula. They just rise up from the flat country like a big castle. I was surprised there wasn't a temple perched on top like there is on every other high mountain in Thailand.
