January 5, 201313 yr Author Unknown #002 No idea about this because I have no information. Anyone?? .
January 5, 201313 yr ^^ Casper? Do tell ... Click the links in the previous post. Both Flightradar24 and Casper render animated maps of flights in progress. I find much more information on Flightradar 24 including recently views from the aircraft. It´s a mashup from at least three sites.
January 5, 201313 yr Unknown #002 No idea about this because I have no information. Anyone?? . If the aircraft has a proximity responder and you revealed the time of the shot we could go to Flightradar24 and playback the movement from Suvarnabhumi, but that would be cheating and no fun at all.
January 5, 201313 yr hmm Google image, dave? January 6, 201313 yr Unknown #002 No idea about this because I have no information. Anyone?? . It's a Dornier 228 flown by Solar Air between DMK and some regional airports.
January 6, 201313 yr Author Unknown #002 No idea about this because I have no information. Anyone?? . It's a Dornier 228 flown by Solar Air between DMK and some regional airports. Thanks for that Dornier 228 from Google search Some background information (from Google) A budget airline based in the Don Mueang International Airport, Solar Air has a fleet size of two Dornier 228’s and a Saab 340A plying the routes of Bangkok, Chumphon, Hua Hin, Phrae, Loei, Mae Sot, and Pattaya. Solar Air Also the ROYAL THAI NAVY Dornier 228 operate them from the Khon Kaen Airport Well spotted tw25rw ... ... I had no idea. .
January 6, 201313 yr Author #009 - Never flown with these guys before ... nor heard of them. Still having major computer issues.
January 6, 201313 yr That's a Druk Air A319. That would be fun just for the experience of landing at Paro. Bhutan seems to be an 'in' destination these days.
January 6, 201313 yr http://koratfart.com/transport-and-traffic/flying-bangkok-to-pattaya-by-solar-air/ Richard Burrows also did a story on them. The 228 is loud and a boring plane. It is back in production under license I believe.
January 7, 201313 yr That's a Druk Air A319. That would be fun just for the experience of landing at Paro. Bhutan seems to be an 'in' destination these days. Good spot. I read a novel a number of years ago, I think by Ian Banks, that describes the landing into a remote Himalayan Kingdom. It had the aircraft spiralling down between mountain walls. If this is how the landing at Paro goes its surprising they didn't select the 318 ... or a Harrier.

January 8, 201313 yr How I wish I had another trip booked on that plane. Cant wait until they introduce the new Business Class on the LHR route, goodbye Thai.
January 8, 201313 yr Author ^^ correct ... again! Eva Air, a Boeing 777-35EER (B77W), Taipei to Amsterdam via Bangkok. January 8, 201313 yr It's a big (size) photo ... but I just wanted to share Vapor Trail at Sunset at the Farm ... . Not you've done it. The chem trail conspiracists will be along soon.
January 8, 201313 yr How I wish I had another trip booked on that plane. Cant wait until they introduce the new Business Class on the LHR route, goodbye Thai. As long as they don't bump the prices up to match..
January 8, 201313 yr Author It's a big (size) photo ... but I just wanted to share Vapor Trail at Sunset at the Farm ... . Not you've done it. The chem trail conspiracists will be along soon. Actually ... that was a thread I never read ... maybe it started before my time, or when I was still reading the News Forum here. But people still remember it ... so it must have been debated with much passion ... .
January 8, 201313 yr Author ... a few minutes later, and with a decent jet stream (no pun intended) ... just looks like another cloud ...
January 8, 201313 yr Author Since there is more then the odd Eva fan here ... a view * you rarely see I presume ... * large file and a different flight path from the one in the quiz ... flew right over the Farm in the early days before I recorded their flight data etc. .
