Found the ID.

"Euphorbia lactea crest 'Yoke Suphan Choke' grafted. These very strange mutations of the ordinary green Euphorbia lactea were developed in Thailand. They are grafted onto an understock of Euphorbia neriifolia. The crests start out as fan-shaped structures, becoming convoluted and brain-like as they age. This very rare variety has a bright yellow body with red markings"

Maybe this is classed as a weed but it can make a nice beverage with a bit or burdock.

It's been raining heaps down here in Ranong lately, inspiration has waned

accordingly...however...our Cereus plant has been blooming almost as

much as the rain god has made it rain. These are from last Tuesday's

massive bloom with more buds to open on the "branches". By Thursday

all the flowers had vanished. As of last night there are new little buds

springing up all over the plant. So far this year we have had six massive

blooms, the most we ever had...ever. The solitary wild yam flower is just

one of around 3 dozen sprouting up from the rains...the burgundy flower

stinks...not a great shot and I'll attempt a better few on the next uprising.

Nik D700, 58mm 1.2 @ f1.8-1/125th sec, hand held, light from 100watt

flood dimmed about 75%. Yam pic taken just after sunrise, same shutter

speed but at f5.6.

These must be from the north, cos they won't last long with Samui's warm climate ... Selling at a market to unsuspecting buyers!

Cyclamen and African violets ....

even Begonias and Hyacinths do do well here!

Sea Shore flowers!

Orchids in the wild. Counted five different varieties but likely more if you climbed the tree. Must have been over a hundred orchids on this one tree.
