SJ....These look like Alamander or Oleander....lovely flowers however...

everything about this plant is deadly poisonous...seriously. The sap,

leaves, stems & branches, roots & the flowers themselves. Even if

there's a need to burn the old dried trimmings stand upwind or else

you die. It's been used throughout history as a poison and from what

I have gathered off the web...there is no medical usage for the toxin

either. Beautiful....but...evil. Be careful OK.

The yellow flower is Alamander .... I have never heard that to be poisonous!

But this is Oleander (quite common... even used along hwys of California, I remember from years back)

Also common here, yes is toxic! Lots blooming around Samui right now!

@ SJ..."The yellow flower is Alamander .... I have never heard that to be poisonous!"

Here's one of many links from a quick Google search...

There seems to be heaps of controversy about the allamanda (proper selling)

some say mildly toxic to lethal. All I know is that a 5 year old dog I once had,

just a mutt, died 2 days after chomping down an allamanda bud.

Some websites say the allamanda can be used as a laxative...hmmmmm

I'll just stick to somtam if I'm ever plugged up...which is rare.
