Hello fellow DM users .

I will be travelling with my pardner and son and sister in law . We will be getting into DM around mid day and flying up to Ubon in the evening . I would like to know if there is a market or shopping center close by for to take in on a wee jaunt away from the airport . We are looking for chinese dried foods and fruits that would make gifts for family up country .Any pointers would be highly appreciated .

Its a shopping centre. Best take a taxi from across the road (heading out of town) at DMK. Meter would be about 50 Baht.

Why not go to the Thai Air Force Museum... Just 5 minute from Don Meung. A great place to spend an hour or three...

Rangsitt was where I used to go to kill time in good old days of DM being the main airport, major Cineplex usually.

I guess we are just gonna be hanging around . We will probably take our leather jackets off though .
