Thailand Pleads Case For Hosting World Expo 2020

It's a great idea, good for the economy, world perceptions of Thailand, employment, everything.................How can you guys be so consistently and constantly anti anything that could be good for thye kingdom ???

Because I would imagine in a number of cases it makes them feel better about their own worthless, futile existence to knock things that they perceive to be "below" them.....

Thailand is very good at running the con. They are great "hustlers." Double talk, blackmail, ratting out each other, coverups, bribery, corruption, law breaking with impunity, no standards and regulations..and on and on. Yet they consistently are able to fool the outside world. Everyone knows but they fail to accept the obvious. It is a land of hustlers, shakedown artists, and con men.

Yet Farangs are queuing up to live here, their home countries must really suck....:)

Well apparently noitom's does.

I can not believe he/she would want to live in the conditions he/she describes. It is obvious to any one who lives here to find that kind of a place to live you would have to do a lot of searching and be willing to live in 2,000 baht a month flops.
