Headache Rack For An Isuzu V Cross

Featured Replies

Hello All,

Does anybody know where I could purchase or have fabricated a headache rack for an Isuzu V Cross in Thailand (preferably BKK)?

I really don't want a big fancy roll bar.

Thanks a lot

Shop on Srinakarin diagonally opposite Seacon Square heading towards Onnut intersection.

Haven't seen a headache rack on a new pickup since the Isuzu Dragon Eyes / Toyota Tiger era LOL

Each to their own ;)

It may be a new pickup, but it still needs to do a little work..................

What's a headache rack... sounds like something you bang ya head against when you've had enough of Thai driving :D

Suzuki Carry has one as standard. You could buy one as a spare part and drill some holes. Took mine off. if desperate i could dig it out and measure it.

ok. now i have googled this headache rack \. i can only presume that the OP does not get out much or drives around with his eyes closed.. they are every where. But if he wants one made h can go on the phetkasem rd towards nakhon pathom there ae about 5 shops selling them.. be aware that if you carry items on the highway then you need a covered load with side bars..At least thats what the BIB will say..

minimum is this..

That's a fancy roll bar, not a headache rack.

The OP is probably like myself and does NOT want one of these tube chrome steel abortions that seem popular but are absolutely no bloody use if you want to really carry stuff that need securing down like bamboo poles, pvc pipe and the like. I was looking for one for my Ranger but apparently only the basic 2-door comes with one as standard. In the UK, it is still a standard fitting to all Rangers (except the WT's) but somewhere along the way, Thailand's truck owners lost the plot and went for bling versus practicality.

The BIB are tossers aren't they?

Thats exactly right NanLaew. I need a small practical rack that I can lash things to. I use one welder on Suk soi 71(BKK) for bits and peices but his work is a little bit too agricultural for this job.

.This is what I eventually had built. Practical, no bling and almost invisible.

Looks decent.

I am still waiting for an OEM one to fall of the back of a lorry at spoonman's place of work.
