GPS locates suspected Hotel IPad Thieves in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Two Hotel Workers who are alleged to have stolen an IPad which was left in their Hotel restaurant on 6th February have now been caught by Pattaya Police.

newsjsPolice Major General Katcha, the Chonburi Provincial Police Commander, held a press conference at Pattaya Police Station late on Friday Night to announce the arrest of Khun Wachara aged 24 and Khun Worawoot aged 26 who both work as Waiters at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in South Pattaya. The pair are alleged to have stolen an IPad which had been inadvertently left at one of the Hotel Restaurants at Breakfast time by Miss Olga Nazarova aged 27, a Russian Guest and former Model.

She reported the incident to Pattaya Police who were able to use GPS tracking to locate the stolen IPad which led to the arrest of the two men. The GPS location was behind the Sophon Market at the corner of Soi 17 and Pattaya Third Road.

She must be doing well, room rates at the Royal Cliff is between 12-14 K bath pr night but now "only" 50% of that due to low season.

I would have thought that a hotel like that checked the staff before employing them and one of them is even a Yaba head, well maybe they start doing that now.
