Uk To Thailand Cheap Calls

Featured Replies

Sorry fellow members Im sure this subject has been asked many times. who is the best company

I can use and how does it work.

There are literally hundreds of providers. I used to use a calling card called i-phone up to about four month's ago but it became unusable by the end. When i looked into an alternative the choice is literally mind boggling - calling cards, internet calls etc. I now use a card called Talk Home which i think is pretty good. Five pounds card gives you up to 800 continuous minutes on 0800 freephone access, more on 0207 access. Easy to use, just put in the pin number on the card. Cuts out from time to time but they all do from my experience. You can get them from asian corner shops/minimarts.

hi starship. are you talking pay as you go or contract phone. i have a contract phone can i still use the card? sounds good

Try this mob, link below

.5p/minute/landline or 1p/minute/mobile plus a connection fee which is cheap.

My mother has used them for years, always a good price.

Depends what network you're on but I use access code 290344 from my mobile to my g/f's mobile in ao nang, 3p per min. Just dial the code, press call, then when the lady starts talking, dial 0066and the number you want (mobile or landline] but do not press call again.

Alternatively get a gt mobile sim, calls are 5p a min.

Connect cards they are number 1. £5.00 card more than 1200 minutes , buy from any asian newsagent. I have used them for over 3 years, 1 card lasts me for 3 months.

I only use landline UK to mobile Thailand. Talk home card is only for calling from landlines (i think). If you are calling from a mobile in UK then others can probably advise better, but in guess this choice might work out more expensive.

  • 1 month later...

Try this from any land line in the UK first dial 08448617575 listen to the computer message Dial the No: you want in Thailand starting with 0066 emitting the 0 finish with the hash key, land line or mobile all cost the same 1p per Min: save's all the messing about with getting cards etc. clear as a bell. Well except for the bar noise in the back ground.
