Yes, it is his nephew. He's good, but there is no replacing Clarence.....

I know!! But i can tell you, last year when there was a sax solo they put a big photo of Clarence up on the screen. And if you closed your eyes his nephew really did his uncle proud.

Clarence will never be forgotten. And i am sure Bruce would not have brought his nephew into the band if he didn't think he was up to it.

For years Bruce pointedly ignored Christie at his concerts. (Which Christie attended faithfully).

During the Sandy relief effort, Obama personally called Bruce to persuade him to acknowledge Christie. That intervention plus Christie's good performance post-Sandy is what achieved it.

BFF is going a bit too far though. Speaking terms is more like it, but that's a big step up from where they were and Christe is understandably ecstatic over it.

Yes, he (Springsteen) is at least King, if not God, in NJ. And almost as highly revered in NY.

Maybe we should start a petition to get him to play Bkk?????

Here we are, over a year later, and relations between Chris and Bruce seem to have soured a bit.

By way of background, Gov. Christie apparently shut down a major highway into New York because the local politician did not support him. Big news here in the US.

Springsteen playing Bangkok is about as likely as me winning the lottery. Why would he come to Thailand? Guarantee 99% of Thais have never heard of him and doubt he is going to pack a whole arena of expats, plus ....Japan...yes maybe, but the Japanese have always more hip tastes in music anyway

I would think that if he played in Bangkok - i for one would have a free flight and hotel and ticket from TVF to enable me to escort Sheryl to the concert. After all the toil and sweat that has gone into this since the beginning!!!

And to get him to sing Rosalita, which he didn't here last year...
